Things to do until Christmas pt.1

By zoeloveya - December 01, 2020

Hello everyone! I hope this post finds you, and the ones you love, really really well! We might haven't felt it coming like every other year, but Christmas is a breath away. And if you haven't decorated your tree yet, today is the perfect day!

The truth is, things are very different this year. But I don't want to talk about it. We hear about the whole situation everywhere so this place will be like, a safety blanket if you wish. Mostly, I'm here to help you see things a little more positively! So today I will talk to you about things you can do at home and still have a wonderful time. So take your cup of coffee, add some music in the background, and let's get started!

1. It's movie time.

And I'm not talking about opening Netflix and watch another episode of F.R.I.E.N.D.S (of course we will do that later, shhh). What you could do this year is to make or find a list ( I'll give you one too!) with Christmas movies that you have never seen before, or maybe discover one that you've forgotten after all these years. The main goal of this is to experience new feelings for Christmas. Of course, we love the classic ones like Home alone, etc, and we will watch them too that's for sure, but let's give a chance to some other beautiful movies that have been forgotten over the years.

2. Let's bake something.

It is true that during quarantine all of us, more or less, became chefs and bakers. But I believe that there's something magical when baking Christmas food and sweets. This year try to help in the making of the traditional meals and desserts of your family! Otherwise, if you live with your friends or your significant other you most definitely need to make some dishes together. Put on some Christmas music, find the recipe (or recipes!) that works best for you, and have some fun! No matter the results you'll have a great time!

3.Decorate, decorate, decorate.

These days are perfect to feel so much better while staying at home. And what's better to boost your positive mood than decorating your home? Put up your Christmas tree and get to work! Let the music play in the back and enjoy yourselves! Extra bonus tip: If you can, put up as many fairy lights as possible in the whole house. There's nothing better than the warmth and fairytale-like feeling they give you! I just love them!

That's it for now. I'll see you very soon with some more ideas! Stay safe, stay happy!
